Some of the final architectural features of the 54-story Miami River apartment tower under construction in Brickell can now be seen, photos by Phillip Pessar show.

The tower stands at 645 feet – one of the tallest apartment buildings in the city, and the tallest that far west Rooftop Tower

When complete, it will have 632 apartments, along with retail space and a riverfront promenade open to the public.

Multiple other towers are also planned in the complex, known as The River District.

Eventually, developer Chetrit Group plans to build 4 million square feet of new development on the property. It will include about 1,600 residences, Class A office space, and 30,000 square feet of retail.

Alright I’m done hating on this building – it’s not a glass tower but it’s a clean build and looks nice and is drastically improving that area – bring on the River District!

man i hope that crown is lit up at night…….would look beautiful

Stunning landmark Miami tower and massive river walk section for the public! Love this project.

This Brickell tower is looking good!

The River District is going to be a huge add to Brickell. Brickell will have more open useful waterfront space soon!

If miami developers paid more attention to the roofs of their buildings like this one, our skyline would be 10x better.

wish we incorporated more spires too..

Very nice for a stucco building

Now that’s a BLUE sky!

Miami’s transformation in this area is set to be nothing short of drastic, propelling it towards becoming a world-class destination with a central public river front at the heart of future city planning.

It’s not the all glass building from the renders but at least they put a crown on it. Something this simple makers a big difference in the final look.

The middle rendering clearly shows the masonry/not all glass

I wouldn’t say “clearly” judging by the fact that everyone on this site assumed these were glass towers from those renders.

Those look like glass buildings in the renders to me…….

Looks like a glass building in person too.

Can we get a Trader Joe’s somewhere around here? Want to see the area West of I95 better utilized, so many viable streetscapes that could be redeveloped to be new like this beautiful district.

Looks great. I love seeing it from the freeway.

One of best views is from the Brickell bridge looking up the river. The river walk will be a main Miami attraction when this is done and Lofty etc. all connecting

Hey, you took my Name*

The detail on this look iconic, the way the ribbed edge goes all way up to the towering tip bears all other towers innMiami .

This is a marvel in the Miami skyline, it’s second to Aston Martin.

Damian Pardo please remove the electric wires and improve the roads and redesign and upgrade the sidewalks in this area with better lighting and landscaping.

Now all they need is some commercial zoning and taller buildings on Jose Marti park to compliment this 60 floor building.

Meanwhile, the foreground is every crappy use of land. A drive-through pharmacy, gas station, and self-storage. So much more potential for the surrounding blocks between I-95 and the Metrorail.

It’s all being redeveloped with master planning.

And one of those ridiculously overpriced Chevron’s, like the one by the airport.

Slightly enhanced Opera Tower but no marvel.

renderings look nothing like the actual building. Its just opera tower jr.

its really a poor mans Five Park

Five Park is stunning. Love how the all-glass facade reflects the sunset as you drive over the causeway.

It’s so much more grand and larger than the tiny 5park, can’t compare

Microwave Antenna Opera tower doesn’t have the same level of design and opulence, plus it’s in edge-poor water. Who would want to live there?
